Get Rid of Your Child Support Headaches!This is a sore subject for me. I have never received a dime of child support from my X husband. He is a professional ghost. He can disappear and reappear when ever it suits him. My X works as a master carpenter, for cash, may I add, so it is nearly impossible to track him or his money! I try not to take it personally, but I always walk out of that office wanting to scream! I have been trying to collect child support for almost 4 years now. The state has not done anything to my knowledge to get us any closer than we were in 2004. I usually consider myself a pretty together, professional, calm person, but there is something about that office that makes my blood boil. I lost my temper for the last time 3 months ago. I decided to seek help on a higher level. I want to pass this peice of info on to you all because it works! Contact you local Congressman in your district. Call their office. I know it sounds a little intimidating, but just do it! My Congressman, here in Florida, Jon Mica has been extremely instrumental in lighting a fire under the Department of Revenue's butt! They still haven't located Mr. Wonderful, in Ohio...but when they do, you can believe the file is in a supervisors hands here in Florida.
